Pierluigi Ferrari ha collaborato con artisti jazz e pop di fama internazionale e da diversi annisi dedica con molta passione alla musica argentina suonando in contesti sia moderni sia tradizionali. Questo progetto rappresenta un punto d’incontro fra stili musicali diversi con atmosfere che spaziano dall’acustica all’elettronica.
Pierluigi Ferrari has worked with world-famous jazz and pop musicians. Over recent years he has taken the plunge into the world of Argentinian music, playing in both modern and traditional contexts. A crossroads of different music styles, this project’s unique sound ranges from acoustic to electronic.
Bassa marea “Silenzio solenne, rotto dalle grida dei gabbiani. Odore pungente. Sabbia bagnata, fangosa, ondulata. Posso sentire la vita sotto di me. Camminerò per ore. Raggiungerò il mare. Solo allora gli volterò le spalle e potrò tornare. Amo la bassa marea, che per qualche ora mette a nudo ogni cosa, i segreti profondi, le gioie infinite, i rimpianti mai confessati. Bassa marea che generosa si lascia ricoprire dal mare, per poi fedele, ritornare…”
Low tide “A solemn silence, only broken by the squeals of seagulls. A pungent smell. Wet, muddy, wavy sand. I can feel life beneath me. I will walk for hours and reach the sea. Only then will I turn around and make my way back. I love the low tide, when for a few hours all is revealed: deep secrets, infinite joys and Uncofessed regrets. The generous low tide that gets covered by the sea and always faithfully comes back…”
Grazie a mia madre Lina per avermi trasmesso l’amore per l’arte e sostenuto nel mio desiderio di diventare musicista: a lei dedico questo cd, e in particolare il brano Triste, che ho composto in suo ricordo. Thanks to my mother Lina, whose love of art and music rubbed off onto me, for having supported – and put up with – my wish to become a musician: this work is dedicated to her, particularly the track Triste, which was written in her memory.
